In February, Microsoft rolled out an update that featured the ability for a larger set of Windows 11 users in the United States to run Android apps via the Amazon App Store. It further released a comprehensive list highlighting the minimum specs required to run Android apps on Windows 11.

Microsoft has since updated its list of countries and regions that support Amazon Appstore on Windows, which includes the following: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, and Vatican City.

Therefore, if you do not see your country or region listed above then the Amazon Appstore is not yet accessible to you. This will prevent you from installing Andriod apps on your Windows 11 device because you require an Amazon account. However, if you reside in a region that supports Amazon Appstore on Windows, then be sure to check out our expert guide that will help you get started.
