Moliplayer Pro for Windows Phone 8 brings several new features and improvements in new update

Moliplayer Pro has gained a lot of popularity since its launch for Windows Phone. The application emerged a very decent all-format media player, and managed to grab a spot in the top-paid apps category during the past few weeks. It’s not just because the application can run almost any format, but its due to the active nature of the developers who are adding more features to it with every new update. Recently, the application received another update, bumping its version to 1.3.0.8.

For those of you who have no clue what MoliPlayer Pro is, it’s an application that can run almost all video formats on your Windows Phone handset. “If you enjoy watching videos on your Windows Phone, but can’t stand the hassle and time to do “trans-coding”, MoliPlayer Pro is the right app for you. With significant enhancement to the video playback capability on the WP platform, MoliPlayer Pro basically plays “anything you throw at it”, RMVB, AVI, MKV, FLV, FLAC, APE… you name it,” says the app description.

The latest update brings several new features to the application, including the ability to select subtitles embedded in a video during playback, a download manager for videos, and more. Additionally, the update also fixed several issues that were present in the update released last week, such as a slow loading issue, crash problems, and more.

Here’s a list of new features and improvements in MoliPlayer Pro version 1.3.0.8:

  • Playback and downloading of videos on the main-stream video websites.
  • Download manager of internet videos.
  • Pinch-zoom and pan of videos during playback (SW only).
  • Selecting embedded subtitles during playback
  • Slow loading issue
  • Charset setting issue for subtitles of certain languages
  • Crash after standby for certain time with screen locked

The application is available in the Windows Phone Store for $2.99 and is worth every penny of it. If you’re unsure, you can try the application and decide for yourself.
