In a recent tweet by Xbox’s Head of Marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg, MMA fans will be able to play UFC 2 early through EA Access on Xbox One. UFC 2 will be released on March 15, 2016, but EA Access members ($4.99 a month; $29.99 a year) can to play UFC 2 now (as of March 10).

UFC 2 is set to improve on the original with new game mechanics and physics to make you feel like you are actually in the octagon. Special bonus features include the ability to play as Iron Mike Tyson, with and without his face tattoo.

UFC 2 comes in two versions:

  • EA Sports UFC 2 Standard Edition features special Day 1 character access to “Iron Mike” Tyson,  and playable MMA legends Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba.
  • EA Sports UFC 2 Deluxe Edition features a number of bonus content, includes everything in the Standard Edition, plus “Legacy” Mike Tyson, complete with his face tattoo, and up to 30 UFC Ultimate Team Premium Packs delivered over 15 weeks.

An added bonus of being an EA Access member is that you get an additional 10% off the original price and access to other free-to-play EA titles available. EA Access costs $4.99 a month or $29.99 for one year.
