The second-last episode of Telltale Games’ Minecraft Story Mode video game is now available for purchase on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. Minecraft Story Mode is set within the world established in the Minecraft video game series but, as its title suggests, is heavily focused on a story while the main Minecraft games are more about creation and editing an environment.

Here’s the official description for Episode 7: Continuing their portal journey in search of home, Jesse and crew land in a world entirely controlled by PAMA – a sinister “thinking machine” determined to command everyone and everything in pursuit of optimal usefulness and efficiency. Forced on the run to avoid capture and assimilation, you’ll need to work with a new ally to defeat the corrupted computer and free the population it has enslaved.

And here’s the official description for Minecraft Story Mode as a whole: As Jesse, you’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, you and your friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.

There are expected to be eight episodes overall in Minecraft Story Mode and a variety of options are available for gamers looking to buy it. The easiest way to consume the game is to purchase the Minecraft: Story Mode – The Complete Adventure pack which contains all available seven episodes and a pre-order for the eighth and final episode which will automatically download once released. The first episode can also be bought by itself with the additional episodes available in packages and also individually.
