Telltale revealed that Minecraft: Story Mode’s sixth episode would be releasing today, and to the joy of Minecraft fans, that day has come. Unlike most Telltale games, Minecraft: Story Mode is continuing past its sixth episode, with episodes 7 and 8 confirmed to be releasing sometime in the future.
If you’re at all interested in the story that was being told in the first five episodes, it’s only going to cost you $5 USD to grab the latest installment – or $15 if you want to grab the Adventure Pass, which will secure you the next two episodes when they come out.
In Episode 6: ‘A Portal to Mystery’, continuing their journey through the portal hallway, Jesse and crew land themselves in another strange new world – one completely overrun by zombies. With a timely invitation to take refuge in a spooky mansion, they find themselves thrown into a thrilling mystery alongside famous members of the Minecraft community. Fresh perils await them in an unfamiliar land, as does the sinister figure known as The Host. What can this pumpkin-headed hostelier have in mind for his new guests? Who are the strangers invited to attend The Host’s mansion party?! Can anyone be trusted?!! Who will survive?!!! Will Owen tell me off for using excessive punctuation?!!!! Who knows?!!!!!
The episode also features some old pillars of the Minecraft community, including CaptainSparklez, as guest voice actors. If you’ve been around the Minecraft community for a long time and have been enjoying some of the big content creators, you may hear some familiar voices as you play through this one.
