Microsoft’s upcoming Minecraft Earth video game has been accepting close beta applications since May but it looks like more are needed as the official Minecraft YouTube channel today published a new video promoting the testing period.

The video shows the viewer what the Minecraft Earth app does on iOS and Android smartphones, detailing how it can be used to get resources and build Minecraft creations in the real world. Check it out below.

Interested gamers with a smartphone running at least Android 7 or iOS 10 can apply to partake in the closed beta here. All applications will receive a unique Minecraft skin which can be used in the main Minecraft games.

No specific release date for Minecraft Earth has been given yet, however, the closed beta is said to be starting in select locations soon.
