When Xbox All Access launched in Australia in October of last year, many were disappointed to see the lack of any mention of Microsoft’s upcoming next gen Xbox Series X console.

The new payment plan, which allows gamers to pay off a new Xbox console on a monthly basis, included the Xbox Series X alongside the Xbox One X and Xbox One S in the UK and US with the offer of a free upgrade to the new console once it launched. The Australian version of the plan, which is managed by the Telstra telecommunications company, excluded the Series X completely and only made vague references to it on social media encouraging people to stay tuned for more information.

It looks as if Telstra has finally bitten the bullet as, earlier this week, the company updated its website with a statement announcing that “Xbox Series X is coming to Xbox All Access.”

Unfortunately, right now there’s no information on if the next gen console will be a free or paid upgrade or if an upgrade will even be available at all. Those interested in getting the Xbox Series X via Xbox All Access are encouraged to fill out this form though.
