Sea of Thieves started off as an Xbox One exclusive before moving to Windows 10 PC via the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Now, Sea of Thieves is “coming soon” to Steam. In the last couple of months, Gears 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC), and State of Decay 2 have also appeared on Steam. On Twitter, Nibel spotted the Sea of Thieves page on Steam.

Sea of Thieves is an open-world, co-op pirate simulator that was developed and released in 2018 by Rare. Sea of Thieves has been available for free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers since the game’s launch on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC via the Microsoft Store. Since its launch, Sea of Thieves has gotten plenty of updates to squash bugs and performance issues. Sea of Thieves has also added new game expansion packs for free to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. It should be noted that an Xbox Live Gold subscription is required to play Sea of Thieves.

Here is the official announcement from Xbox. Or if you want, you can join Xbox Game Pass and start playing Sea of Thieves today. Otherwise, Sea of Thieves is available for $39.99 through the Microsoft Store.
