Microsoft's photo sharing app 'Xim' now lets you add a caption, save a picture and more

Back in October of last year, we were the first to introduce you to Microsoft Xim, a new photo sharing app from Microsoft that lets you express your ideas. Xim is designed to share pictures in a way that makes it as easy and convenient as possible for everyone involved. They accomplished this by creating an app where only one person needs to have the app downloaded, sending the link through SMS or email, and ensuring that it runs on all platforms by powering it on the web.

Xim has received an update on Windows Phone, bumping the version number to 1.5.1.0 and now allowing users to add a caption, save a picture, and more. The update also improves performance while fixing some unnamed bugs. You can also head over here to learn more about Xim.

Xim allows you to invite people from your phone’s contact list, via email or via phone number. You can choose photos from your camera roll, Instagram, Facebook, Dropbox, or OneDrive. You can ‘Xim’ your photos from your camera roll or favorite service to your friends’ devices. They can swipe, pan, and zoom together for everyone enjoy, even those who don’t have the app. Grab the updated app from the download link below and check it out.
