Microsoft’s Mixer Video Game Streaming Service Gives $100 To Each Streamer With Partner Status – onmsft.com

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic that’s sweeping the globe and resulting in record-breaking unemployment rates and financial hardship in numerous communities, Microsoft has just given $100 to all active streamers on their Mixer platform who currently have the partner status.

None of the official Xbox or Mixer social media channels seem to have made any announcements about this. Instead, it’s the Mixer partners themselves who have been announcing this generous donation to all of their followers.

Here’s some of the reactions from Mixer partners posted to Twitter after receiving their gift:

Thank you @WatchMixer for sending the partners a little supply drop.

I’m going to spend all $100 donating to non-partners.

Drop some of your favorite non-partnered Mixer streamers below and I’ll hit them up with some love!

✨I want to spend the $100 (that @WatchMixer generously gave to active partners on Mixer) on Embers for monetized Mixer channels!✨

✨Drop your link, or your favorite streamers link, and I’ll check them all out soon!✨

Mixer sent each of its active partners $100 to help with the current epidemic everyone is dealing with.

Good to know that everyday I put my heart and soul into a company that has a heart and soul!

Love ya face @WatchMixer pic.twitter.com/204K10UwXv

Man I hope twitch does the same for their partners in this time of need but man @WatchMixer really values their partners.

They sent each active partner 100$ during this pandemic to keep us fed or whatever we need it for. Thank you mixer. Thank you so much.

HUGE SHOUTOUT TO @WatchMixer!

During these hard times, people are doing everything they can to stay safe, provide for their families and still move forward. Mixer understands this and was nice enough to provide a stim pack for partners! Thank you so much for the $100! pic.twitter.com/600lFRU6dc

While $100 won’t exactly cover rent or anything of that scale, it should definitely help cover some utility bills and groceries. It may also help cover any reductions in viewer donations and subscriptions which have occurred due to the recent economic downturn.
