Microsoft’s ‘affordable flagship’ Lumia 830 comes to America on AT&T

Lumia 830

The Lumia 830, with all its 10 MP of PureView goodness, is officially coming to AT&T. The Lumia 830 is Microsoft’s “affordable flagship” handset, which was announced at IFA earlier this month.

It features a 5-inch, 1280 X 720 display, a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core SnapDragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, a 10MP PureView camera with a 0.9 MP front facing companion, built in wireless charging, and includes LTE by default. The cherry on top is changeable back covers that come in bright green, bright orange, black, and white variants.

And while you may be taken back by the relatively measly sounding 10MP camera, megapixels are not the most important part about the camera. It is still PureView, and comes with ZEISS optics, Rich Recording, Optical Image Stabilization, and SensorCore.

It is rumored to be accompanied on Verizon and T-Mobile, so if you’re not on AT&T, there is hope yet. If you are on AT&T, be on the lookout for the Lumia 830! (Details including pricing will be released later.)
