Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg hints at big things to come to Xbox One at E3 this year

As Microsoft continues to improve the overall Xbox One experience month-after-month, there appears to be even bigger developments ahead for the console this year at E3. At a recent Inner Circle podcast, Microsoft’s marketing head, Aaron Greenberg, hinted at big things to come for Xbox One at E3 2015. Greenberg didn’t get into any possible hints at the specifics of what’s to come for the Xbox One, but he does seem to be doing his best to promote Microsoft’s Xbox presence at E3 2015 this summer:

“We have some ideas to do things different at E3 this year that we haven’t done before. I think we’re going to take a little bit of a different approach to E3 this year. But I feel really good about it. It’s been really exciting. Expect a lot of surprises. Expect us to talk a lot about games. And if you’re an Xbox owner, I think you’re going to leave really, really, really happy in the investment you made. And if you’re undecided, we hope that you will look at what we deliver on games and want to buy an Xbox [One]. We’re really just starting to really showcase the power and the graphic fidelity of the platform.”

It’s no secret that Xbox Feedback website has been a big step forward for improving the Xbox One experience for gamers. After all, listening to the Xbox Live community only serves to improve the Xbox One as a whole and I am personally excited to see what new and innovative features are coming to Xbox One in the months to come. Greenberg continues to explain the role of the Xbox Feedback website and its influence on improving the over Xbox One experience:

“We truly believe that we have the opportunity to innovate and add new features and we’ve been doing that with our monthly updates. That’s definitely influencing what we’re doing. And we’re going to be pretty relentlessly innovating. You can expect us to continue to invest in Xbox Live as the premium online network; continue to see us invest with more apps, more capabilities; people ask for screenshots, you saw that come through in the preview. We’ve just been month after month delivering what’s been high on people’s lists, and we’re going to continue to do that. The team has a long list of things that they’re still working on as well. Hopefully people that buy an Xbox One realize it gets better every month, and a year from now, the product that they have is going to be substantially better. That’s our commitment; to continue to innovate and continue to make it better.”

It’s great to hear that new things are in the pipeline for Xbox One, but without going into any specifics, Greenberg could be talking about literally anything concerning Xbox One and Xbox Live. After all, Greenberg is in marketing and its his job to hype all things Xbox, but without giving out any specifics on what Xbox One games can expect, it’s hard to say what to expect. Maybe we will see HoloLens integration with the Xbox One? I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens this summer at E3 2015.
