Microsoft: You can now use your Office 365 credentials to sign into Yammer

Do you use Yammer and have an Office 365 subscription? Microsoft has now implemented a new feature that gives users one less password to manage and a seamless online entry point to all Office 365 apps. In other words, you can now use your Office 365 credentials to sign into Yammer.

“Today marks an important milestone with the release of Office 365 sign-in for Yammer, a feature allowing users to access Yammer with their Office 365 credentials and to work across Office 365 applications with ease,” Jay Sethna stated in an official Yammer blog post.

Yammer, for those that did not know, is an enterprise social network for businesses to get work done smarter and faster. This new feature will roll out between December and March 2015, shipping to Office 365 customers that have Yammer Enterprise activated in a network’s Office 365 Admin Center, and Yammer single sign-on (SSO) disabled.

Microsoft also suggests that all organizations select Yammer as their default social network, ensuring that users can easily access Yammer through their Office 365 navigation bar. You can read more about this new sign-in feature by heading over to the VIA link below.
