Microsoft wants you to start more conversations with "Revolve"

We all know the situation. It’s 9am, in a cold conference center, in a distant city. You’ve been traveling for 14 hours, ten of which were spent wishing the kid in the row behind you had an ‘off’ switch’. Three people stand in front of you, it’s time to make conversation, and you draw a blank. Between the jet-lag, bad coffee and weird accents, it is just too much. What do you do?

This is exactly the situation that the good folk at Microsoft Garage have been attempting to solve, coming up with the app ‘Revolve’, initially for iPhone but now for Windows Phone. ‘Revolve’ works in the background to pull information relevant to the people that you are scheduled to meet, in order to make it easier to start a conversation.

Whether an over-engineered solution to a niche problem, or a visionary approach to a common struggle, ‘Revolve’ is now available to download from the Windows Phone Store, although it only works for Microsoft employees at the moment (this situation is likely to change with time.)

Will you be downloading Revolve? Let us know in the comments below.
