Xbox Music

Xbox Music, which already comes pre-installed with Windows 8 and is the default music player for the operating system, has received a new update which brings along improved performance and streamlined transition from a trial subscription to a paid Xbox Music Pass.

The Xbox Music app has been updated to version 1.1.144.0 and comes with improvements to simplify access to streaming music for free, streamlined transition from a trial subscription to a paid Xbox Music Pass, a fix to minimize occasional playback concerns, and additional minor bug fixes. There is also less lag compared to previous versions of the app, especially when using gestures. Hit the Windows Store to grab the updated app if you already have it installed.
