Microsoft has officially announced that the Microsoft Update Catalog is finally available on browsers other than Internet Explorer. This move comes after the company’s initial announcement from a few months ago that the Catalogue website would be updated to remove the ActiveX requirement that kept the site from being used by other browsers.
This announcement means that IT adminstrators can finally use Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and other browsers to download and manage Windows updates.
