Microsoft Advertising is constantly innovating to provide advertisers with powerful tools and features to optimize their campaigns and drive better results. With a focus on understanding user engagement and delivering improved ad performance, Microsoft has announced the launch of UET Insights for advertising, a valuable new dashboard that will help advertisers gain insights and leverage data signals for enhanced targeting and conversions.

Scheduled to roll out on a rolling basis starting from July 3, 2023, UET Insights will automatically enable itself for existing UET tags, empowering advertisers with a range of new data collection capabilities. By unlocking these insights, businesses can make informed decisions, improve website performance, and optimize their advertising strategies.

What is UET Tag

The Microsoft Advertising UET tag has long been a trusted tool for advertisers, enabling conversion tracking, remarketing, and automated bidding strategies. With the introduction of UET Insights, advertisers can now take their campaigns to new heights by leveraging additional data signals to gain deeper visibility into web traffic and enhance campaign performance.

Key Features of UET Insights

UET Insights introduces a robust website dashboard that provides advertisers with powerful insights into user engagement, helping them improve their web pages and optimize targeting for increased conversions. Key data available on the built-in dashboard includes:

  1. Total visits to your website and number of visits per page: Gain a comprehensive overview of your website’s traffic and understand which pages are attracting the most visitors.
  2. Session breakdown by country and device: Analyze user behavior across different geographical locations and device types to tailor your campaigns for maximum impact.
  3. Quick backs: Identify users who leave your website quickly, enabling you to address any potential issues and improve the user experience.
  4. Time spent on your website: Measure user engagement by tracking the time visitors spend on your website, allowing you to identify areas where users may be losing interest.

Enabling UET Insights is a hassle-free process that requires no coding from the advertisers’ end. Existing UET tags will be automatically updated on the back end, and all new tags created in the future will come pre-enabled with UET Insights.
