Microsoft To Do app updates on iOS with added URL support and auto-saving notes

The Microsoft To Do iOS app updated to Version 2.28 this week. This new update added quite a bit of added functionality to the free task management app such as support for enhanced links, new link sharing, and auto-saving for Task Notes.

Here’s the full release notes with all of the details:

  • To the delight of developers, we have provided Linked Entity support for web and other standard URLs in To Do graph API for iOS. Linked entity provides users context (details of task’s source like Email task, etc.) and actionability (e.g. link back to that email task). Hence, it enables the user to efficiently recall and act on a task.
  • Now you can share a list from your personal account to a work account.
  • We have added auto-saving of Task Notes. You no longer need to save notes after every edit.
  • We have fixed some bugs related to adding tasks from Siri, sync issues and Task Notes.
