Microsoft Teams Premium trial licenses to be available next month

Microsoft will seemingly enhance organizations looking to optimize their collaboration experience. Next month, Microsoft Teams will offer self-service trial licenses for Teams Premium, enabling businesses to explore advanced features before committing to full licenses.

Teams Premium is an add-on license designed to elevate the Teams experience for Microsoft 365 subscribers. This move aims to allow IT administrators and users to harness the power of Teams Premium features on a trial basis. The trial period will allow organizations to feel the benefits and tailor the offerings to their needs.

Beginning next month, organizations can access the Teams Premium 30-day trial license directly from the Microsoft 365 admin center. This initiative will allow interested parties to explore the capabilities of Teams Premium at no cost.

The trial version will include a comprehensive set of Teams Premium features, such as personalized and intelligent meetings, enhanced meeting protection, advanced management tools, and virtual appointments.

Each organization with a trial license can assign up to 25 users to test Teams Premium features during the trial period. This will enable teams to experiment with the offerings and make informed decisions.

It’s important to note that some advanced features, like end-to-end encryption for meetings, customized meeting templates, and organization-branded backgrounds, may require administrative configuration before users can fully utilize them.

This initiative marks a step forward in Microsoft’s commitment to enhancing organizational collaboration experiences.
