Microsoft Store opening in Woodland Hills offers discounted Xbox 360 and $99 Toshiba Encore 8" 32GB

For those of you who live near Woodland Hills, California, Microsoft is set to open a brand new Microsoft Store at the Westfield Topanga & Promenade on Saturday, September 20th. Microsoft will be offering an Xbox 360 4GB for $99, and a Toshiba Encore 8″ 32GB tablet for $99.

The Toshiba 8″ 32GB Windows 8.1 tablet features an 8-inch widescreen WXGA display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, 32GB internal storage, 2GB LPDDR3 1067MHz memory, and an Intel AtomZ3740 Quad Core 1.80 GHz 2M Cache processor. The tablet features Intel HD graphics, a Micro USB 2.0 port, Dolby Digital Plus speakers, Bluetooth 4.0, Wireless: 802.11a/b/g/n, a front 2.0MP Fixed Focus HD Camera, and a rear 8.0MP Auto Focus HD camera.

The new Microsoft Store will open on Level 2 near the Dining Terrace and these special offers are for a limited time. You can also snag a gift card with a surprise amount ranging from $10 to $1000, if you are one of the first 500 customers in line at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

“On Saturday, Sept. 20, Microsoft will offer the first 500 customers in line at the ribbon cutting ceremony of our new store at Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park, CA, a gift card with a surprise amount ranging from $10 to $1,000 (grand opening celebration at 10:30 a.m.). More than 100 of those customers in line will be gifted a card worth $100 or more, and two lucky customers will receive a $1,000 gift card to Microsoft retail stores. Be sure to get there early!” Microsoft stated.
