Microsoft Store Offering The First-gen Surface Pro 128GB For $679 – onmsft.com

Microsoft Store offering the first-gen Surface Pro 128GB for $679, over $200 discount

Microsoft is offering a huge discount on the first-generation Surface Pro device as part of a holiday deal at the Microsoft Store. You can snag a 128GB Surface Pro for $679, which is $220 less than the regular price of $899.

The Surface Pro features Windows 8 Pro, which can be upgradable to the recently released Windows 8.1 update. The device features a 3rd generation Intel Core i5 Processor with Intel HD Graphics 4000, 4GB RAM, 10.6″ ClearType HD Display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080, as well as two 720p HD cameras (front and rear).

The interesting thing here is that the Surface Pro received a $100 price cut back in October, when the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 were launched. In fact, the Surface Pro 128GB was decreased in price by $100 as part of a special promotion at the time, making the price $799. Microsoft is now touting the regular price of the device as $899 on the official online Microsoft Store.
