Microsoft shows off how Windows Phone can bring news apps like CNN and NBC News to life

There are quite a few news apps available in the Windows Phone Store. For example, you have access to the official CNN app, along with USA Today, NBC News, and much more. In a new video posted to Microsoft’s YouTube channel, the Redmond giant is touting how Windows Phone is the best platform to bring your favorite news apps to life.

According to Microsoft, breaking news happens fast so your apps need to be faster. In the video, which we have embedded below for your viewing pleasure, Microsoft shows off how Windows Phone’s Live tile feature allows you to keep up-to-date with any breaking news right at your home screen.
