Microsoft Secures 'Every Street United' Trademark

Rumors have been circulating for some time that Microsoft is planning a reality show based on the theme of street soccer. The name ‘Every Street United’ was suggested as a new Xbox Entertainment Studios project by Deadline. There has been no official word from Microsoft about this, but it’s looking more and more likely.

The latest evidence, apart from word of mouth rumors, is that Microsoft has managed to secure the trademark to ‘Every Street United’. Neowin is reporting that a listing on the US Patent and Trademark Office website provides more detail about what we can expect to see in the future.

The trademark listing is inaccessible at the moment, but it is quoted as including references to “Downloadable video recordings featuring sports; Pre-recorded DVDs featuring sports” and “Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring sports provided through television and webcasts.”

For now, Microsoft is remaining tight-lipped, and it remains to be seen just when the trademark will be put to good use.
