For those of you running Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview, Microsoft has rolled out a new update today adding a few improvements based on feedback. Microsoft is also touting “an amazing response” to the preview, which was released one month ago.
“We’re happy to announce that starting today we’re delivering an update to the Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for Developers (build number 8.10.12382.878). This update includes several improvements based on the feedback we’ve received, and we’re happy to be rolling it out after just one month,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.
It looks like we are getting some battery improvements with this particular update, addressing issues that numerous users were experiencing while running the preview. The update is relatively small, so it shouldnt take too long to get up and running. Try it out and let us know how you like it!
If you are on the Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for Developers and want to get the update, go to Settings then Phone Update and click “check for updates.”
