In a post on Twitter, Microsoft announced that a new Office Insider build for Android is now available. In November 2015, Microsoft announced Office Insider, a Office version of its highly-popular Windows Insider program. Office Insider is available for Windows 10, Android, and Mac users; although this latest Office Insider build is available for Android only.
The latest Office Insider build for Android, version number 16.0.6528.1008, was announced by Microsoft on Twitter. There are three new features for Word:
- Auto-save
- Version history
- Collaborative authoring
In order to be eligible to participate in the Office Insider program for Android, users must join the official Office Insider community on Google+ (its mandated by Google for testing apps in the Google Play Store).
