Games With Gold October 2020

Today, Microsoft’s Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, revealed the new Games with Gold for October 2020. Starting October 1st, the killer puzzle game Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut on Xbox One will be available for free, along with the original Xbox 3D action-adventure game, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

Starting on October 16th, the first-person survival horror game Maid of Sker and the Halloween-inspired RPG and Xbox 360 game title Costume Quest will be available free to play. All four games represent $72.00 in value and 3000 in Gamerscore, but keep in mind that you cannot earn any achievements for original Xbox games, as is the case for Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.

If you are an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you have all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold, plus access to over 100 Xbox console and Windows PC games to play free. As Microsoft plans to buy even more studios, more games will be added to Xbox Game Pass all the time, including Xbox exclusive games that you will be able to access before anyone else as part of your subscription.

If you’re new to Xbox, or you’re an existing Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for Console member, you can join or upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $1.
