Microsoft reportedly launching a 500GB Xbox 360 bundle with COD game titles for $249 in October

Microsoft is seemingly working on a special edition 500GB Xbox 360 bundle which includes a blue console, a blue controller, alongside Call of Duty Ghosts and Call of Duty Black Ops II game titles.

According to a Wal-Mark ad scan posted on Blu-ray forums, the bundle will be launched and exclusively sold through Wal-Mart on October 7. There is a good chance that the post is real, since the retailer recently announced an exclusive Wii U bundle.

The special 500GB Xbox 360 bundle will cost $249. For a refresh, just last month Microsoft started selling the 500GB hard drives designed for Xbox 360 for $110. The Xbox 360 was launched in 2005 at the price point of $399. So it actually makes sense to grab the special edition, as it is much cheaper.

Now that Xbox 360 has got so much space, would you be interested in getting one of these?

Thanks Fahad for the tip!
