Microsoft Remote Desktop for Windows Phone brings Cortana integration in its latest update

Microsoft Remote Desktop for Windows Phone is an app that allows users to remotely control their computer from the mobile handset. The app, in today’s update, adds several exciting features including Cortana integration, among several other nifty additions.

Bumping up the version number to 8.1.3, Microsoft Remote Desktop now sings along with Cortana. You can now give her commands to trigger several operations. For instance, just say “Remote desktop connect to ” or “Remote desktop to ” and Cortana will get the work done.

In addition, unlike before where the app would lock your phone from doing anything else, Microsoft Remote Desktop no longer locks your phone. The app is available on Windows Phone and several other popular platforms.

If you haven’t tried it yet, you should, it’s really amazing, and can come very handy at times. Grab the updated version from the download link below, and share with us your experience.
