Microsoft has just released another Windows 11 Insider build for the Dev Channel, this one clocking in at 23565. There’s not much to this build, although the blog post does note that you can get a pair of new desktop backgrounds to celebrate the 9th anniversary of the Windows Insider program.
Other than that, this build upgrades to the new Copilot in Windows icon on the taskbar, and includes a trial of setting Windows Spotlight as the default desktop background in some cases:
- We are trying out Windows Spotlight on desktop on by default as the default background for upgrades where Insiders are using one of the inbox default desktop backgrounds. We are trying this experience out with a limited number of Insiders at first.
File Explorer gets a few fixes in this build, and there are a couple of known issues, too. Be sure to check out the Windows Insider blog post for all the details.
