Just yesterday folks with PCs and mobile phones running the Creators Update were treated with a fresh cumulative update from Microsoft. Today, Microsoft has followed up to release another cumulative update (KB4023680,) this time only for PCs still running the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (via Neowin).

As usual, you can grab up this latest update by heading into Windows Update. You also can head to the Microsoft Update Catalogue to download manually if you so prefer.  There is not much new with this update, and there are no known issues. You can check the full changelog below:

This non-security update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:

  • Addressed issue where End User Defined Characters (EUDC) may not be visible in some applications.

If you installed earlier updates, only the new fixes contained in this package will be downloaded and installed on your device.

Again, this is just a standard cumulative update for Windows 10 PCs, and it’s not aimed for mobile, so don’t expect any new features after the install. We wish you well in your downloading and invite you to drop us a comment below to let us know how the experience is going for you.
