Surface

As part of July 2013 Patch Tuesday, Microsoft has rolled out a firmware update for the Surface RT device. The firmware update for the Surface RT simply addresses and enhances system performance and reliability.

Usually Microsoft will roll out a firmware update for the Surface Pro as well, but this time there was no update to be found. According to the Surface Pro update history website, “No product updates were released for Surface Pro in July.”

Microsoft has been on a roll as of late, releasing a firmware update for the Surface Pro and Surface RT for the past several months. It is actually really weird for the software giant not to release any updates for the Pro.

For those of you on the Surface RT, head over to Windows Update to snag the Surface RT update. Let us know in the comments below if you notice anything new or changed.
