Skype for Windows 6.1

\

Last year, Microsoft mentioned that Outlook integration for Skype would be coming soon and would be a part of the new Office 2013 productivity suite. Microsoft has just announced that Skype for Windows 6.1 now offers Outlook integration.

\

The new Outlook integration in Skype features an online status and mood message feature that will display in a person’s contact card for those who have Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013. Via that contact card, you can initialize a Skype instant message or call session directly from that card without having to leave Outlook! Pretty cool stuff. This will obviously offer Outlook and Skype users the ability to stay connected with their Skype contacts directly from inside Outlook. Hit the source link to grab the new Skype for Windows 6.1 and give it a try with Outlook!
