Office for iPhone

Microsoft has finally rolled out Office for iPhone, starting today. Those of you on the Apple device can head over to the Apple Store and snag Office for iPhone, which comes with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

We’ve heard rumors about Office for iPhone but now those of you on the iPhone itching to have Microsoft’s productivity suite can now snag a suite that is similar to the one Microsoft offers on Windows Phone. Office for iPhone is optimized for editing and creating Word and Excel files.

There is a catch however. In order to have Office on your iPhone, you need an Office 365 subscription. Microsoft is currently not offering a standalone version of the suite nor is there an iPad optimized version of the product.

“Loading up a Word document is straight forward, and you can quickly jump into edit options directly within the same viewing interface. The editing interface isn’t as straight forward as it should be,” The Verge reports.

Office for iPhone is pretty simple and does the job if you want Office capabilities on your iPhone 4 or iPhone 5. You can have Office for iPhone on up to five iPhones and having a trial subscription for Office 365 will still allow you to use Office for iPhone.

Head over to the source link to check out screenshots or hit the download link below to snag the app, if you have an Office 365 subscription.
