In a bit of odd marketing for the upcoming Windows 11 event later this week, Microsoft has uploaded an 11 minute video on the official Microsoft YouTube channel featuring a mix of different Windows operating system startup sounds slowed down by 4,000% to create a kind of bizarre meditation audio experience.

The sounds are taken from Windows 95, Windows XP, and Windows 7 while the choice of images shown on screen reflect each operating system’s default wallpapers or design aesthetic.

You can watch the full Windows Startup Sounds Slo-fi Remix video below.

While Microsoft has yet to officially announce Windows 11, pretty much every tease for the June 24th Microsoft Event has made reference to the number 11 in one way or another. The obvious reference here being the runtime of this video, 11 minutes.

We’ll be covering all of the expected and unexpected Windows 11 news throughout this week so make sure to check back soon and follow us on Twitter to get all of the latest.

For now, check out what we think Windows users can expect to hear during the June 24th event and take a look at what some of us thought the leaked Windows 11 build that’s been floating around.
