Whew, we’ve barely had time to breathe with the launch of Windows 10 Creators Update just in the midst of launching, but our favorite red button pusher Dona Sarkar is at it again, announcing today that build 16170, a new build from the Development Branch, is now available for download for Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring.

Windows Insiders itching for new features like Project Neon and OneDrive On Demand Sync will still have to wait, however, as this build (and we expect the ones immediately following it) contain under-the-hood fixes that will allow for those new features on down the road:

…you won’t see many big noticeable changes or new features in new builds just yet. That’s because right now, we’re focused on making some refinements to OneCore and doing some code refactoring and other engineering work that is necessary to make sure OneCore is optimally structured for teams to start checking in code. This also means more bugs and other issues that could be slightly more painful to live with

As always, get to downloading, be advised that these early Redstone 3 builds may be buggier than you’re used to, and stay tuned to OnMSFT.com for all the latest on Windows 10, Microsoft, and beyond!
