Microsoft has released a slew of firmware updates for its Surface devices, specifically, the first and second-generation models of the Surface Laptop and Surface Laptop Go. These updates are mostly focused on improving the overall stability of the system and also bring a bunch of fixes.

For the owners of the Surface Laptop Go devices, this batch aims to enhance the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection reliability and battery telemetry. In addition, these firmware updates also address some security vulnerabilities, and you can get more details in the full release notes below:

The first-generation and second-generation Surface Laptops are receiving the same bits that bring stability and security improvements. You can get more details in the full release notes below:

  • Surface ME – Firmware: 11.8.86.3877 Addresses critical security vulnerability and improves system stability.
