Windows Phone

Microsoft has released a new update for Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for Developers, which means preview participants can go check for updates right now. This update is another critical update, meaning it will be installed automatically 24 hours after the update is automatically downloaded to your phone.

The new build being pushed to preview participants is 8.10.14203.306, which was referenced recently by the Battery Saver update changelog. From said changelog, we know this update introduces the ability for Battery Saver to have a true live-tile on the Start Screen as well as having a Battery Saver option in the Action Center.

This isn’t Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2, which was rumored to be making an appearance for preview participants this month, we’re not too sure when/if Update 2 will show up. Not much else is known about his new build, so let us know below if you see any new changes!

Thanks for the tip, dude!
