Select Insiders running the build 18950 should also get access to the new Cortana beta app that went live in the build 18945. The build 18950 also includes traces of a new Cloud download feature that will soon allow Windows 10 users to reinstall the OS from the cloud, but the Windows Insider team explained last week that it’s not functional yet.
If you’re a developer, Microsoft also released the Windows 10 SDK Preview build 18950 today, which can be downloaded from the developer section of Microsoft’s Windows Insider website. You can learn more about tools updates and breaking changes on the full blog post.
We hope to get a new 20H1 build later this week, but the absence of Windows Insider chief Dona Sarkar and her colleague Jason Howard may have put everything on hold for a couple of days.
