Microsoft has released a handful of new firmware updates for its ARM-based Surface Pro X devices. The changelog is identical for both models of the Surface Pro X, which means that those with SQ1 and SQ2 processors are receiving similar performance and stability improvements.
For Surface Pro X owners, the new bits should improve the accuracy of the trackpad and bring support for the new Surface Type Covers and the Surface Slim Pen 2. This batch also aims to fix an issue affecting the out-of-box experience of both devices, and you can find the full changelog below:

As usual, these firmware updates are gradually rolling out to all Surface Pro X devices, so you may not see them right away. Microsoft has also released new firmware updates for Surface Book 3, Surface Pro 4, as well as Surface Studio 2 devices that include stability improvements.
