Yesterday was a big day for Microsoft, as the company rolled out the first Windows 10 Fast Ring PC build in over three weeks. Well, noted by Neowin, it turns out that Microsoft also quietly rolled out Windows 10 Mobile build 15240 to Insiders in the Slow RIng, two weeks after pushing it to Fast Ring Insiders.

The rollout started yesterday, and Microsoft’s original blog post for Windows 10 Mobile build 15240 has not yet been updated to reflect the change. As a reminder, this latest “feature2” build brought new emojis as well as a set of fixes, such as a resolution for the issue where users trying to update Windows Store apps saved to an SD card would receive an error. Of course, the build comes with known issues too, and you can read up on those by clicking here.

Update: Dona Sakar has tweeted about the release of build 15240 for Mobile on the Slow Ring and is sorry for the delay in the blog post.

As always, Windows Insiders who are enrolled in the Slow Ring should be seeing this update now under Windows Update. Fast Ring Insiders will need to wait a bit longer for a new build, as Dona Sarkar revealed there would be no new mobile builds today.
