Microsoft quick to respond to Windows Phone calendar bug, updated app now available.

Yesterday, Microsoft updated the Calendar app on the Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview that also rendered the app useless when it came to creating appointments. Forcing a crash to the Start Screen. Although, Cortana was still capable of getting the job done but those outside of the US were out of luck.

Luckily, Microsoft were quick to respond after the news broke and have today released an update to the app that fixes the crash bug. As confirmed by Windows Phone’s Joe Belfiore on Twitter:

WP8.1 Calendar fix is ready and getting posted to the store. Will take a bit of time to show up everywhere. Sorry for the inconvenience!
