Today, Microsoft Project Server 2016 hits Release to Manufacturing (RTM). Project Server 2016 helps enterprise customers with on-premises project and portfolio management (PPM). Yesterday, Microsoft detailed all the improvements to SharePoint Server 2016 in updates and new capabilities that was based largely on enterprise user feedback. For Project Server 2016, Microsoft learned what needed improvement through running its Office 365 cloud service for enterprise customers. Project Server 2016 is now optimized for reliability, scalability and performance.
