Microsoft plans to take its business intelligence tools mobile, trials starting soon

\

We’ve talked about how Microsoft technology such as Power BI for Office 365 can help businesses and educational institutions save money, and now, that the solution has proven itself in real-world use cases. Microsoft is now looking to make Power BI more accessible to mobile users and corporations on the move.

\

In an email sent out by Microsoft, the software giant asks users if they have an iPhone or iPad device, in order to reserve a spot to test Power BI for iOS. The email reads:

\

\

Using an iPad or iPhone?

\

Power BI for iOS is coming soon.

\

Get exclusive early access to the Power BI for iOS app and start exploring Power BI dashboards and reports on your mobile devices – anywhere, anytime!

\

Request your personal app invite and start enjoying Power BI on the go.

\

\

While the app seems to be making its debut on iOS, Microsoft will be launching the solution on Android and Windows Phone too, according to VentureBeat. It is also likely that the app will require an Office 365 subscription to function.
