The official Microsoft OneDrive app updated to Version 13.13.2 today on Apple’s iPhone and iPad smart devices earlier today.

This latest iOS app update makes it easier for users to sign up for an account and log in by adding options for one-time passcodes sent via text message. This means that users won’t need to remember or type in their traditional passwords to access their OneDrive app.

Here’s the full release notes:

It will now be faster & even more secure to sign up for a new account on the OneDrive app. You will be able to sign up and log in with your phone numbers and one-time passcodes we will send you via a text message. No more stress of remembering passwords!

This wouldn’t be possible without your feedback. If you run into any issues, please shake your device and tap “Report a Problem.”

While the iOS OneDrive app doesn’t get that many major changes too often, the OneDrive platform as a whole has seen quite a bit of attention from Microsoft this year.
