Microsoft offers Xbox Live Gold members a free 24-hour Sunset Overdrive trial this Saturday

\

Sunset Overdrive has created quite a stir in the gaming arena. Microsoft bundled the game with a white Xbox One, and a downloadable copy of the game, as an attractive bundle for the holiday season. If you’re an Xbox Live gold member, there’s a piece of good news for you. Beginning November 22nd at 12.01 Eastern Time, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play the game free for 24 hours.

\

It will be a full-featured game and users will be able to earn achievements throughout the experience. Xbox One owners will also be able to play all missions and save their progress during the trial period. In the future, if you decide to spend your cash on Sunset Overdrive, you’ll be able to resume the game right from where you left off.

\

In case you don’t know, Xbox Live Gold membership costs $9.99 a month, or $59.99 a year. The company also offers a free month of trial so you can make up your mind if it’s right for you. If you ask me, it’s worth the money, especially if you’re a hardcore gamer, since gold members get several popular titles at enticing discounts every week in Microsoft’s “Deals with Gold” program.
