Microsoft is offering preliminary documentation for developers on building various types of applications for the recently released Windows 8 Consumer Preview. The documentation focuses on key app scenarios to get developers started.
The end-to-end design documentation goes over three types of apps that Windows 8 developers will find themselves working on. The first guide deals with creating great entertainment apps for Windows 8. The second documentation deals with creating a game app that utilizes Metro UI and simultaneously improves its user experience. The final documentation goes over how to build news apps for Windows 8.
