Microsoft offering Dropbox users 100GB of free OneDrive storage for one year

Microsoft and Dropbox, despite being rivals in the cloud storage industry, have partnered together on the Office productivity suite of apps for iPhone and Android tablets. Dropbox integration was added to Office apps for iOS and Android tablets, allowing users to manage, edit and save their documents on Dropbox, but it doesn’t mean they aren’t going to go for practices to lure customers on using their services.

In a recent move, Microsoft is giving away free 100 GB OneDrive storage to Dropbox users for one year. How? All you have to do is verify that you own a Dropbox account — Microsoft uploads a document to your account to verify that you’re the rightful owner.

You can get more details about the promotion at the source link below, just head over and sign up if you don’t mind switching from Dropbox to OneDrive as your on-the-go app for storing files in the cloud.
