Surface 2

Most of us are excited about the impressive Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft. But it’s not the only tablet the company is offering at the moment — there’s a Surface 2 as well. It may not offer users with top-notch hardware as the Surface Pro 3, but it’s still a tablet which can come in quite handy — and yes, it’s a lot cheaper than the 12-inch Surface Pro 3 as well.

If you’re thinking about getting your hands on the Windows RT powered Surface 2 tablet, you be glad to find out that Microsoft is offering a $100 discount on all configurations of the tablet, including the 4G LTE model. This means users can purchase the 32GB Surface 2 for just $349, while the 64GB version is down to $449. As for the 4G LTE variant of the tablet, it carries a $579 price tag which is a good bargain.

The Surface 2 rocks a 10.6-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor under the hood. There’s 2GB of RAM, 32/64GB storage options, 5MP rear camera, 3.5MP front-facing camera, a battery which can provide a battery time of up to 10 hours as per the official spec sheet, and runs Windows RT as its operating system out of the box.

\

Does a $100 discount is attractive enough? Or are you planning to save your hard-earned cash and grab a Surface Pro 3?
