Microsoft begins work on WebVR support for Edge browser

Microsoft has started implementing WebVR, a virtual reality web standard, into its Edge browser, to allow virtual reality content to be supported when browsing in Edge.

DreamSpark program rebranding to Microsoft Imagine

Microsoft is beginning to rebrand its DreamSpark program, which offers students cheaper or even free Microsoft products, to Microsoft Imagine.

Report: Microsoft to unveil Surface “Cardinal” at October launch event

Microsoft has been rumoured to unveil a new Surface product at an event in October, a Surface all-in-one, known as Project Cardinal.

Microsoft Azure, Office 365 now available from UK datacenters

The company has opened up new data centers in the United Kingdom, which brings both Azure and Office 365 servers to the UK.
