Microsoft lumia 640 xl now available in canada for cad 339

Back in March, Microsoft introduced the Lumia 640 XL which is already available in several markets across the globe. The handset comes with a decent set of specifications and the traditional Lumia design, but with a budget-friendly price tag. Canadian customers interested in the handset have a reason to rejoice as the Lumia 640 XL is now available in the region.

The handset is yet to show up on Microsoft’s online store, but customers interested in the handset can pick it up from retails stores across the country for CAD 339, as spotted by the folks at MobileSyrup.

This is an affordable price tag considering the hardware Lumia 640 XL has to offer. It boasts a 5.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1,280 by 720 pixels. There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, 13MP main shooter for photos and videos as well as a 5MP front-facing camera, a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2. The handset is upgradeable to Windows 10 Mobile, which is expected to launch by the end of this year.
